Complete Home Inspection:
We will perform a thorough inspection to determine the condition of the entire home and the functionality of its systems, to include; Roof, Structure, Siding, Windows, Doors, Plumbing, Electrical, Heating and Cooling systems, Appliances, and the grounds for appropriate drainage and grading.
The inspection report will include a complete commentary of the conditions of these systems and will identify any defects or issues encountered at the time of inspection; the report includes a complete photographic record of the property at the time of the inspection.
What should you do in preparation for the inspection?
Please ensure that all utilities are active; water, electricity, gas. These services are required to permit the inspector to test the functionality of each of the service systems in the house. The inspector will be removing and replacing electrical panel covers and testing receptacles throughout the house, running faucets and operating appliances.
The inspector will need to have access to all interior and exterior spaces in the home - if the home is occupied, wherever possible pets should be isolated for the period of the inspection, and occupants should understand that the inspection will take at least three or four hours for an average sized home.
Since, the inspector will be accessing the roof, attic and crawls spaces - ensuring clear access to crawl space entryway's and attic access hatches (scuttles) is necessary, and is the responsibility of the homeowner.
